The Cytology department of Fort Wayne Medical Laboratory offers full spectrum on-site processing for both Gyn and Non-Gynecologic specimens. We process SurePath liquid based paps and employ the Focal Point slide profiler to provide the most current standard of care. We also do in-house Digene HPV testing that can be ordered as a reflex test or ordered one at a time. We offer one of the most highly qualified cytology staff teams in the area. We have a full staff of certified cytotechnologists as well as seven pathologists. One of our pathologists subspecializes and is board certified in cytopathology and one subspecializes in Ob-Gyn pathology.
